Welcoming Dr Miles Prosser to the Clinic

We are pleased to welcome Dr Miles Prosser to the clinic team.

Dr Miles is a chiropractor with a strong clinical and academic foundation, bringing both technical excellence and a thoughtful, patient-centred approach to musculoskeletal care. He holds a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science, a Master of Chiropractic, and a Sports Medicine Level 1 qualification, supporting his work with active individuals, recreational athletes, and competitive sporting populations.

Academic Excellence and Diagnostic Strength

During his postgraduate training, Dr Miles achieved Dux of the Year in his Master’s degree and was awarded Excellence in Radiology, reflecting a high level of academic distinction and diagnostic capability. Alongside clinical practice, he works as a sessional tutor at Macquarie University, teaching Neuroanatomy, and maintaining close engagement with contemporary anatomical and neurological science.

This academic involvement informs a clinically rigorous approach to assessment, imaging interpretation, and treatment planning.

Clinical Focus and Treatment Philosophy

Dr Miles’ clinical focus is on the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions, with particular interest in:

  • Manual therapy

  • Purposeful spinal and extremity adjusting

  • Evidence-informed, individualised care

He places strong emphasis on identifying the underlying drivers of a patient’s presentation, developing treatment strategies that extend beyond symptom relief to support long-term function, movement efficiency, and resilience.

His approach aligns closely with the clinic’s broader philosophy of integrating structure, function, and performance within a modern, evidence-based framework.

Sport, Performance, and Neurology

Dr Miles has a strong interest in sports and neurology, both clinically and academically. He is currently the Primary Chiropractor for the Rydalmere Lions, where he works closely with athletes to support injury prevention, recovery, and performance optimisation across training and competition cycles.

This role reflects his ability to translate clinical reasoning into real-world sporting environments, working collaboratively within performance and medical teams.

A Personal Perspective on Care

Dr Miles’ professional approach is also shaped by personal experience. As a teenager, he experienced significant back issues that temporarily limited his participation in sport. Through chiropractic care, he was able to return to full activity - an experience that continues to inform his empathetic, patient-centred style of practice.

Beyond the Clinic

Outside of clinical work, Dr Miles is passionate about sport, values time with family and friends, and is committed to maintaining balance between professional excellence and personal wellbeing.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Miles Prosser to the clinic and look forward to the expertise, insight, and care he brings to our patients and community.

Kind regards,

Dr. Kevin Ivins
