IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS
This page will give additional details about your visit to our clinic for your case.
/ This first meeting is vital for many reasons, the relationship of patient and practitioner will be an intimate professional one, where total honesty and trust is paramount between them both. The initial consultation will assess whether the type of problem the patient wishes to address is encompassed by the practitioner's skill level or Chiropractic care itself or would it be better to refer to a different type of treatment modality.
/ Being an Evidence-Based Practice it is our intention that we ensure that all information required to make an accurate diagnosis is obtained prior to the commencement of Chiropractic Care. Correct management of a given condition requires an implementation of a general strategy of the relevant anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and/or biomechanics of a given area or complaint. For this to be achieved a comprehensive medical history, discussion and physical examination comprising of a postural evaluation, specific spinal analysis, orthopaedic and neurological testing is performed.
/ Specific functional and autonomic tests based on your individual case will be performed and data recorded. Revision of blood tests, current medications and diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, CT and MRI will only be requested if clinically indicated.
/ Clinical data pertaining to vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and weight will also be recorded. A review of your initial medical history and examination results will be an important part of your consultation as this will allow an empirical baseline to be established for further analysis as your personalised treatment protocol is designed and administered.
/ As the clinic is a registered My Health Record Organisation access to a patients's My Health record if requested will ensure that communication with local doctors, specialists, and hospitals will make sure you get the complete care you need.
/ INITIAL CONSULTATION (or new presentation requiring extensive clinical evaluation)
45 minutes to 1 hour in duration: $175. A deposit of $75 is required at the time of booking.
/ EXTENDED CONSULTATION
(involving longer clinical review, advice and/or evaluation of diagnostic imaging studies)
Fees range from $155 to $175.
/ STANDARD TREATMENT VISIT (treatment applied for a known condition): $105
/ MASSAGE THERAPY
30 Minutes: $70
1 Hour: $115
1.5 Hours: $160
/ INFRARED SAUNA
30 Minutes - One person: $35
60 Minutes - One person: $65
Add one person: $15
Sessions available from Monday to Friday (8:00am - 12:00pm; 2:00pm - 5:00pm); and on alternate Saturdays (8:00am - 12:00pm).
/ We respectfully ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice should you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment.
/ This provides us with the opportunity to offer your appointment to another patient in need of care.
/ If this request is not fulfilled a cancellation fee of $50 will be incurred.
